MISSING SANDPIPERS A copy of the Sandpiper is mailed to every resident in the City of Del Mar. Recently however we have been getting complaints that some residents are not receiving a copy. At first we thought it was just a one time only slip up but now we know differently. If a resident has removed their address from a full coverage mailing list, they do not receive ANY mail labeled “resident.” That includes the Sandpiper. We don’t know how many residents fall into this category or what happens to the discarded copies but we are trying to figure out how to solve the problem. We are even considering hiring our own newspaper carrier. In
the meantime if you
know someone who
is not receiving the
Sandpiper,
please pass this
information
on and let them know
there are places
in town where they
can
pick up a copy. Marti

of every month - with
the exception of
August and December
- to
the Del Mar Library
and the Powerhouse. |
